FOCUSED COMMUNITIES
Find your people within the community.
Chapters are focused sub-communities inside Durable — built around a shared angle, stage, or interest. A place to go deeper with the people who get it.

WHAT IS A CHAPTER?
A focused room inside the Commons.
The broader Durable Commons is open to all Utah business owners. Chapters give you a smaller, more focused community within that — built around a shared angle.
Each chapter has its own programming, conversations, and rhythm. Some are open to apply for; others form organically from the community.
As Durable grows, more chapters will form around industries, roles, stages of business, and interests.

Get Involved
Start a chapter
If you care about community and want to get involved, helping start or lead a chapter is one of the most rewarding ways to do it. Chapters are where the Commons gets personal — smaller rooms built around what you love.
- Deeper connections — a smaller room where people actually know each other.
- Built on what you love — organized around an interest, industry, or place.
- A way to give back — shape the community and help others find their people.
How chapters form
Chapters are built by the people in them.
Chapters form out of demand. When enough owners want to go deeper on a shared interest, industry, or place — and someone raises their hand to help lead — we help turn that energy into a real, lasting community.
We back chapter leaders with the structure to stay organized and built to last beyond any one person’s time leading it — access to funding, distribution to the broader Durable community, event ideas, venues, and sometimes budget.
Chapters run their own programming. As long as they hold to Durable’s standards, they operate bottoms-up and autonomous — empowered to build in the way that fits their people, their interest, and their corner of Utah.
Already running a community and want to run it with more legitimacy, budget, distribution, and access? We’d love to hear from you.
